Priorat
Located in the south of Catalonia, the province of Tarragona, is a privileged site for wine production, being together with La Rioja the only two regions that have a Designation of Origin, DOQ.

The vineyards are settled on "terraces" with steep soils, upholstered with thin sheets of slate called "licorella". This compound gives an authentic personality to the Priorat wines. Its secret and its terroir qualify its excellent minerality.
In the last 30 years the secrets of the Priorat have come to light, producing some of the most select wines of Spain, as well as becoming a privileged destination for enotourism.
